Infection Treatment (Pediatric)

Fast, Accurate Treatment for Childhood Infections Sub-headline: From fever and flu to pneumonia and dengue — expert diagnosis and care for all pediatric infections, 24×7

About

Children pick up infections easily — and while most are mild, some need timely specialist care. Knowing which is which is exactly where an experienced pediatrician matters.

Dr. Abhishek Arya (MD Pediatrics) at Aryan Multispeciality Hospital diagnoses and treats the full range of childhood infections with a focus on accurate diagnosis and rational use of antibiotics — treating what needs treatment, and avoiding unnecessary medicines.

Services

  • Fever evaluation & management — Finding and treating the cause, not just the temperature
  • Respiratory infections — Cold, flu, tonsillitis, bronchitis, pneumonia
  • Stomach infections — Diarrhea, vomiting, dehydration management
  • Urinary tract infections (UTI) in children
  • Seasonal & vector-borne diseases — Dengue, malaria, typhoid
  • Skin infections — Bacterial and fungal infections
  • Ear, nose & throat infections

Treatment Process

  1. Consultation & Examination — Detailed history and thorough clinical examination
  2. Targeted Investigations — Only necessary tests (blood tests, urine tests) to confirm the diagnosis

  4. Rational Treatment — Right medicine, right dose, right duration — antibiotics only when truly needed
  5. Home Care Guidance — Clear instructions on fever control, fluids, diet, and danger signs
  6. Follow-up / Admission if Needed — Review visits, or in-patient care for serious cases

FAQ

Q1. When should I bring my child to the doctor for fever?

A. If fever lasts more than 48–72 hours, is very high, or is accompanied by lethargy, poor feeding, breathing difficulty, rash, or fits — come immediately, any time.

Q2. Does every fever need antibiotics?

A. No. Most fevers in children are viral and resolve without antibiotics. We prescribe antibiotics only when a bacterial infection is confirmed or strongly suspected.

Q3. What are signs of dehydration in a child with diarrhea?

A. Reduced urine, dry mouth, sunken eyes, excessive sleepiness, or crying without tears. These need urgent medical attention.

Q4. How can I protect my child from frequent infections?

A. Complete vaccination, good nutrition, hand hygiene, and clean drinking water dramatically reduce infections. We guide you on all of these.

Q5. Do you treat dengue and typhoid?

A. Yes, we regularly diagnose and manage seasonal illnesses including dengue, typhoid, and malaria, with admission facilities for serious cases.
